In anticipation of the release of their 14th studio album, 'Utilitarian', on February 27th in Europe and February 28th in North America, the legendary NAPALM DEATH has posted a NEW video of Mark "Barney" Greenway discussing secret band facts. You can now watch the video below.

Set to be released on February 27th in Europe and February 28th in North America, 'Utilitarian' is the four-piece's 14th studio album, and it promises to live up to the bands everlasting legacy as leaders of extreme music-- so prepare yourself for a NEW grind classic!

NAPALM DEATH Premieres Third Video Of Mark "Barney" Greenway Describing 'Utilitarian'!

Mark "Barney" Greenway, the frontman of the legendary Grindcore band Napalm Death, is now giving fans the third preview of his bands upcoming NEW album entitled 'Utilitarian'. Below you can watch the premiere of the third of four video clips. The band's shouter, guides you through the next four songs on the album: "Orders of Magnitude", "Think Tank Trials", "Blank Look About Face" and "Leper Colony". In addition to featuring an explanation of the meaning behind each song, this track-by-track is also spiced-up with audio samples of all the NEW album songs that Barney refers to. NAPALM DEATH Premieres Video That Discusses The Occupy Movement & Riots!

In anticipation of the release of their 14th studio album, 'Utilitarian', on February 27th in Europe and February 28th in North America, the legendary NAPALM DEATH has posted a NEW video of Mark "Barney" Greenway discussing the Occupy Movement and riots. You can watch the video below.

To show their support for the Occupy movement and to provide fans with the latest news about their politically-charged Utilitarian, NAPALM DEATH launched an "Occupy Napalm" Facebook tab with downloadable Occupy-themed stencils and screensavers, plus a special video teaser for the album created by Mitch Harris (guitar, vocals). This Facebook tab is the place to go for everything NAPALM DEATH, so go Occupy Napalm now!

The band also just released the second part of their amazing Utilitarian track-by-track series. In this video, Barney guides you through the next four songs on the album: "The Wolf I Feed", "Quarantined", "Fall On Their Swords", and "Collision Course". PRONG Reveals Album Cover Art & Tracklisting for 'Carved Into Stone'!

PRONG have confirmed the release date for their NEW album 'Carved Into Stone'. The album will be released April 24th in North America on Long Branch Records. The band has also unveiled the album artwork and tracklisting for the album. The artwork was created by Vance Kelly (Down, The Sword)

PRONG will be touring throughout 2012 supporting their forthcoming release 'Carved Into Stone'. The initial dates have been confirmed, including two shows supporting Bay Area Thrashers Testament in February, followed by a string of headlining gigs in March. More dates will be announced shortly.

PRONG has completed work on their Long Branch Records debut with producer Steve Evetts. PRONG (whose lineup includes bassist Tony Campos and drummer Alexei Rodriguez) has taken a major step forward in their constantly evolving brand of sonic schematics.

'Carved Into Stone' is quintessentially PRONG. It stretches into the band's earliest and dirtiest foundations on which the band was founded on New York's Lower East Side to the present as a staple of today's post-Metal and Rock scenes.

Winds Of Genocide Announce NEW Album Title & Lineup Changes!

UK-based deathcrust miscreants Winds Of Genocide will release their debut via NEW label home, Pulverised Records. Dubbed 'Usurping The Throne Of Disease', the record will feature cover art by legendary gruesome graphic artist Mark Riddick (Arsis, Slayer, Morbid Angel, The Black Dahlia Murder, Suffocation, Cephalic Carnage, etc). In related news, Winds Of Genocide recently added drummer Matthew Henderson, and second guitarist Linus Girdland Flink to the lineup. Elaborates the band in a collective statement: "This is the new lineup that will be writing material for and recording our debut full-length, 'Usurping The Throne Of Disease'. Matthew is a great, young, versatile drummer -- still only in his teens -- and drums in a local death metal band called Plague Rider. He can switch from d-beats, Swebeats and blastbeats, which is all we need in a drummer! He has picked up most of the songs we've written so far very quickly and learned the current setlist with impressive ease. We are very happy to have him in the band and onboard for the full-length album. Linus, who played drums on our first two recordings and the tracks for the upcoming split with Abigail (Japan), has now moved on to second guitar due to his relocation to London. We needed to find a drummer who could rehearse and work on new material regularly."

Spawned in 2006, Winds Of Genocide is poised to inflict apokalyptic domination with their offensive d-beat onslaught forming a bastardized fusion of Cianide, Amebix, Unleashed and Bolt Thrower. Usurping The Throne Of Disease should see the light of day later this year via Pulverised Records.

Prong Announce Initial U.S. Tour Dates!

Prong will be touring throughout 2012 supporting their forthcoming release 'Carved Into Stone' which will be released in April on Long Branch Records. The initial dates have been confirmed, and they include one headlining date and two shows supporting Bay Area Thrashers Testament on two dates in February, followed by a string of headlining gigs in March.

PRONG Announce NEW Album Title!

PRONG are putting the final touches on their Long Branch Records debut with producer Steve Evetts.

"It was hardest I've ever worked in the studio on any record I've ever been involved with", commented PRONG founder and frontman Tommy Victor. "I always believed there were many dimensions to PRONG. The Safety Fire Reveals NEW Album Title, Artwork & Track-listing!

With their expansive atmospheres and soaring melodies, The Safety Fire has pushed the boundaries of technical progressive Metal in the ever-growing British progressive music scene since their inception in 2006, and now the band is finally ready to release their first full-length album, 'Grind The Ocean'! As the epic sequel to their critically acclaimed EP titled 'Sections', 'Grind The Ocean' will be released on February 27th in Europe and February 28th in North America via Inside Out Music, so be prepared for The Safety Fire's new progressive Metal masterpiece coming soon!

The Safety Fire guitarist Derya "Dez" Nagle produced and mixed 'Grind The Ocean' as part of his "BlackBear Productions" operation, through which he also produced bands such as Rise to Remain (Century Media), The Haarp Machine (Sumerian), and Palehorse (Eyesofsound).

Dying Fetus Announce NEW Album Title!

Dying Fetus, has entered the studio to record their NEW full length album. The band will once again be working with longtime producer Steve Wright (Slipknot, Misery Index) at Wrightway Studios in Baltimore, MD.

Set to be released in mid 2012 through Relapse Records, the album will feature nine tracks and is a "return to roots" with production focused slightly more on slam than in the band's last few works. Thematically, the album is set to be a good old-fashioned piece of social and political commentary in the style of Dying Fetus as we have come to know. The band has released a teaser video revealing the title of the album.

Next year, Dying Fetus will be playing a series of special South American shows set to take place in mid-January. Plus, they will be part of the Metalliance tour, and the band has also been confirmed for next year's prestigious 'Maryland Deathfest' and France's 'Hellfest'.
