DRAGONFORCE To Perform At The "New England Metal & Hardcore Festival"

Today, MassConcerts, who are the organizers of the annual music festival dubbed as "The New England Metal & Hardcore Festival", announced that DRAGONFORCE will be performing on the second day of the 14th edition of this annual music fest. The festival is scheduled to take place on the weekend of April 20-22, 2012.

"The New England Metal & Hardcore Festival", is the largest and longest running Metal and Hardcore festival in the United States. Since its inception in 1999, the festival has gathered some of the most established musical acts in Heavy Music, as well as upcoming artists within the Heavy Metal and Hardcore genres.

Jeremy Deacon (Formerly From Wykked Wytch) Loses Battle To Cancer - Rest In Peace!

With heavy hearts, its saddens is to inform you that Jeremy Deacon, who is the former bass player of Florida's extreme Metal band Wykked Wytch, has died of lymphoma* at the young age of 33. Here is statement from the bands frontman Ipek Warnock:

"Thank You all My dear Friends and fans for offering condolence & kind words for our Ex Bassist Jeremy deacon!I had a very rough nite dealing with his loss ,too young To Die! I will be dedicating a part for Jeremy on my upcoming radio show this Thursday. We met Jeremy in 1998 and he was part of the group off and on till 2001. He performed at many shows in NY, OH, NJ, PA, including opening slot for Dying Fetus (1998) in NYC, March Metal Meltdown II in NJ (1999), San Antonio Metalfest (1999). Only other member to have performed with the original line-up and 'Angelic Vengeance' lineup. He was also involved during the writing sessions for 'Angelic Vengeance' but couldn't take part in the recording. Lost contact over the last several years but even when we moved down to Florida we brought him down to be apart of the group but didn't work out. Jeremy was very talented and I recognized that and always tried to help but his own demons always held him back from his dreams. In closing don't hold grudge, just tell that person today that you care before it's too late! Peace my friends!!"

* Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphocytes (a type of cell that forms part of the immune system).

WARBRINGER Are Locked & Loaded For North American Tour With Iced Earth & Symphony X!

After recently touring Europe with Arch Enemy and successfully completing their first-ever headlining US run in the fall of 2011, the Thrash road-warriors WARBRINGER are ready for yet another North American tour --this time, with co-headliners Iced Earth and Symphony X! In regards to this upcoming trek, the band comments: "It's a new year and we're looking forward to getting back out there and touring the US and Canada, especially getting back to some of the markets we didn't hit on the headline tour. Ronnie James Dio Tribute Album to Feature Members of Judas Priest, Motörhead, Alice Cooper, Deep Purple, Skid Row, Foo Fighters & More!

Wendy Dio, the widow and longtime manager of the late great Ronnie James Dio, is currently assembling a Ronnie James Dio tribute album. Here are some of the artists that are confirmed to appear on this special tribute album:

The Ronnie James Dio tribute album, is tentatively due before the end of the year. So far, it has been revealed that this tribute album will see Grohl covering Black Sabbath's "The Mob Rules" and Halford contributing a version of Rainbow's "Long Live Rock 'N' Roll".

Forever Her Nightmare - Video Premiere Of 'Liar On The Run'!

In the turn of the century, the Heavy Music scene was dominated by Nu-Metal bands. Then in the mid-2000s it was time for Metalcore to take over the scene. Today, the scene is favoring the Deathcore genre. Even though Forever Her Nightmare supports all these different sub-genres, they consciously decided to go against the grain and compose music that is beautifully dangerous. Music that captures your soul and devours it without any mercy.

Today, the band is premiering their brand NEW video for their song entitled "Liar On The Run". This is what director Kevin Saez, had to say about the bands fresh NEW video:

"Once upon a time I had a night out with Forever Her Nightmare. This is my recollection of the events of that night. Special thanks to every person who helped in the making of this video! DIO's Classic Album 'Holy Diver' To Be Re-released This Month!

Unless you have been living under a rock, chances are that you have heard DIO's legendary album "Holy Diver" many times. You probably also know that it is one of the most influential albums in the history of Heavy Music. Additionally, vocalist Ronnie James Dio was one of the most talented and admired singers in the world of music.

Over the weekend it was announced that Audio Fidelity will re-release a remastered version of "Holy Diver" this month. This release is part of a 24K Gold Compact Disc series. This NEW edition will offer the fans of DIO a higher quality recording. The big difference with this process is that most previous releases relied on post-EQ'ed cutting tapes. This time around the remastered version was created via the original 1983 Sound City studio analog tape, with audiophile music restoration specialist Steve Hoffman.

Here are some facts about "Holy Diver":

- Released on May 25, 1983.
- The album has been hailed by critics as Dio's best work and a classic staple in the heavy metal genre.
- The album was previously remastered and re-released by Rock Candy Records in 2005. The only notable addition to the original album is an audio interview with Ronnie James Dio. This is why the DIO camp decided to create e better version of the album.
