Primal Fear - Song Premiere Of "Bad Guys Wear Black"!
German Power Metal legends Primal Fear are releasing their latest masterpiece 'Unbreakable' on January 24th in North America via Frontiers Records. Noisecreep is hosting an exclusive stream of the song "Bad Guys Wear Black" at the link below.
'Unbreakable' is available for pre-order from Amazon and iTunes.
'Unbreakable' combines the skills of the strongest Primal Fear line-up ever, with a well-balanced "back to the roots" vibe and an ambitious learning process that took place during their longest tour so far. Classic and ultra-fresh Primal Fear riff-rockers like "Strike", "Give Em Hell" or the high speed track "And There Was Silence" will hit the bulls-eye, like the rhythm paced Metal anthem, first single and NEW video clip "Bad Guys Wear Black". Less experiments, more Rock! But there will be a nine-minute epic journey with prog approach named "Where Angels Die", a classic wonderful ballad "Born Again" and the melodic power bomb "Metal Nation". Singer Ralf Scheepers adds: "the plan was to record an album for the fans with rough Metal riffs, screaming vocals and good melodies... and finally it became a monster - a tough 'bang-your-head' Metal album called 'Unbreakable'.
Magnus Karlsson and Alex Beyrodt are worldwide respected guitarists - together they are unbeatable! Ralf Scheepers vocal performance shines brightly on a new level on the NEW album. And what can go wrong if you're backed by one of the best rhythm sections in Metal with Randy Black and Mat Sinner? Plus backing vocals by the "Fantastic Four": Ralf Scheepers, Mat Sinner, Erik Martensson and Oliver Hartmann. You can hear the results on Primal Fears NEW statement called 'Unbreakable'!
'Unbreakable' was produced by Mat Sinner, engineered and mixed by Achim Koehler at the House Of Music studios and some more studios in Germany & Sweden between the summer and autumn of 2011.
Primal Fear is:
- Ralf Scheepers: Vocals
- Alex Beyrodt: Guitars
- Magnus Karlsson: Guitar, Keyboards
- Randy Black: Guitars
- Mat Sinner: Bass & Vocals

A video for the song "At Least I'm Drunk" was recently completed and will make its online debut later this month. A teaser for the video can be seen below.
No more endless studio fakes, sound samples, artificial drum overdubs and computer-controlled corrections of suboptimal lead vocals. The time has come to return to the true values of rock music, namely honesty, solid craftsmanship and real lifeblood. To cut a long story short: the time has come for NITROGODS! The motto of this spectacular new rock trio: three men, three corners, and down-to-earth no-bullshit Rock N'Roll!
The band may still be unfamiliar to the public at large, but the three members are renowned musicians with illustrious histories to look back on. Guitarist Henny Wolter founded Thunderhead in 1988, played with Primal Fear and Sinner for number of years and was part of the Rock Meets Classic touring band. Drummer KlausSperling (Freedom Call) was also with Primal Fear for a long time. And at the epicenter of the NITROGODS soundquake is a heavyweight who is impressive in every respect: Claus "Oimel" Larcher, a bear of a musician whose bass performance stands for sheer power and whose voice unmistakably reflects countless liters of beer and whiskey.
"I wanted to return to playing the music that I love," says Henny Wolter, "and that only works if you play it with your best friends."
Fast Eddie Clarke comments on his collaboration with the NITROGODS: "I first met Claus from the NITROGODS in 2005 when I did a benefit gig for the victims of the tsunami in Indonesia. So I was happy to say yes when asked to do a solo on their new album on the track 'Wasted In Berlin'. I have to say the tracks they sent me sounded great. The band has great spirit and they all play extremely well together. So if you like fast and furious rock, you should give this a listen. I can assure you you will not be dissapointed..."
Dan McCafferty on NITROGODS: "I have just had the pleasure to record a song with a new band called NITROGODS. Henny and I met and became good friends on the Rock Meets Classic tour 2010. Having heard other material for the album, I think it will be a fine one. Hope you enjoy my contribution on 'Whiskey Wonderland'. I wish the GODS the best of luck. Welcome to the Rock N' Roll world!"
