Arizona's new heroes VECTOR made ​​me fall off the chair with its predecessor "Black Future". A unique blend of Technical Thrash and Speed ​​in which progressive clouds welling up as a liniment for the rough carpet of verbal primal scream, coils of jazz fusion that just strokes the cheek.

David DiSanto's voice is unique, an incredible intensity, can not recall that I have ever heard anything like this before and it is fantastic and fits in perfectly.

This is the most stand-out group the Thrash Metal scene right now!

Vektor - Dying World

Hey folks!

Its the time of the year that we look back..NOT that far ☺
Just this year, 2011.
What we thought was best in the album releases world for 2011.
As Stones said we don't think the same … So we will present 2 Tune of the day per day for some days now, with start of today!
To summarize this year for me, yea its been a hard working year, with lotsa band and less hrs. to sleep. I've been multi working and…pwew Im tired, but wtf the show must go on, as Queen said.

If I compare it with last year, regarding to good gigs…hm dunno who won, every gig has its specials… My best gig this year in music and experience, was Foo Fighters at Stadium, Stockholm and I don't even have em as my favo´s but what ever it was a great gig.

The second place goes to Black Country Communion, this gig I didn't work on, just stood there and listening……the whole gig. This is very rare when it comes to me, Im a mingler :p I loved their tunes and Joe´s guitar and Derek´s keyboard, John´s drumms, Glen´s bass… although He took some space there on the stage ☺
Hope ure following our top ten list.



Number 10 is the band Vektor 3rd studio album "Outer Isolations"

For me, this is a album that's full of energy and progressive metal, they say its trash metal force. This album is even better than their last album "Black Future" that they released 2009. Love this album much!

Black Tide - Walking Dead Man

Now Im going to play something that I dont use to listen to a lot, but u are many out there and I was asked to do something with this band so here it is.



Black Tide is an American heavy metal band from Florida.



They were formed in 2004 and the current members are:
Gabriel Garcia on lead vocals, lead guitar
Austin Diaz on rhythm guitar, backing vocals
Zakk Sandler on bass, backing vocals
Steven Spence on drums, percussion.

They have released one album 2008 and now in August they will release
Post Mortem and that is the second album by Black Tide.

Anthrax - Got The Time

Next and the last of the big four is Anthrax!
Ive choosen a old tune from Persistence of Time and that is the fifth studio album.
As a youtube user said: "I can't headbang fast enough for this song."



Did u know that Anthrax was formed in mid-1981 by guitarists Scott Ian and Danny Lilker. The band was named after the disease the two saw listed in a biology textbook, using it because it sounded "sufficiently evil"



Ian reported, in December 2010, that the band had almost completed their new album stating: “We’re almost ready to go, eight things are recorded and we’ve only got to go back and re-record two or three things. And Joey’s singing on all of it.” It will be their 9th album.

Megadeth - Symphony Of Destruction

Third band on the Biggish Four is Megadeth.
They are comming to Stockholm, Sweden at"Fryshuset, Arenan" on the 19th of March. :D

In Now 2010 Dave Mustaine said that they will soon begin to record their 13th album. So Im w8ing with great curiosity on it :)

With thoughts of Daves backround with Metallica its cool that they doing a tour, cos two months after Dave Mustaine was fired from Metallica due to drinking, drug use, violent behavior and personality conflicts with James Hetfield,Lars Ulrich and former bassist Ron McGovney, Mustaine and bassist Dave Ellefson
formed Megadeth in Los Angeles.



Mustaine later said, "After getting fired from Metallica, all I remember is that I wanted blood. Theirs. I wanted to be faster and heavier than them."
But I guess the axe is buried long time ago as this was in early 80ts.



In the band's 25 active years, there have been over 20 individuals that have all officially been a part of the group at different times, with Dave Mustaine and David Ellefson being the only original members.

Slayer - Hate Worldwide

If I shall continue with the big four ;)
I choose Slayer :D



Saw them at Sonisphere last summer, awesome guys, just came up and play´d the pants off everyone play´d b4 them. What I like with these old rockers is that then been there, done that etc, and are clean, NO drugs NO alcohol b4 the gig. Its Just AWESOME!
Professionals!!



This tune is from their latest, "World Painted Blood" this album received generally positive reviews from music critics. It was praised by The A.V. Club, who said that the "resounding success in that regard: It's eclectic, but never self-consciously so." "Hate Worldwide" and "World Painted Blood" were both nominated for Best Metal Performance at the 53rd Grammy Awards, and the album peaked number two on the US Top Hard Rock Albums chart, as well as twelve on the Billboard 200 and forty-one on the United Kingdom album chart.



First there was "Canadian Carnage," then there was "American Carnage," and now, two of the bands that defined the thrash/metal genre, Slayer and Megadeth, announce the European Carnage Tour, set to kick off March 13 in Kiev, Russia. Over 22-plus dates, Slayer and Megadeth will assault their way from one end of Europe to the other.

The last time Slayer toured Europe with Megadeth was back in the Fall of 1990 on the original Clash of the Titans tour. Slayer had just released its fifth studio album, "Seasons In The Abyss" which went on to become a million-selling classic, boasting tracks like "War Ensemble," "Dead Skin Mask," "Expendable Youth,"and the title track.

Metallica - Fade To Black

It was some time ago we did Metallica!
And we took some good ones, but this one I think we do have left :)



In a November 2010 interview with The Pulse of Radio, Ulrich stated that Metallica wants to get back to writing again for 2011. Ulrich stated: "There’s a bunch of balls in the air for 2011, but I think the main one is we really want to get back to writing again. We haven’t really written since, what, ’06, ’07, and we want to get back to kind of just being creative again. Right now we are going to just chill out and then probably start up again in, I’d say, March or April, and start probably putting the creative cap back on and start writing some songs"



Im sooo eager to hear this!!!!!





In December, 2010, Metallica announced that they will once again play together with the "big four", during the Sonisphere Festival U.K., on July 8, 2011. This will be the first time all of the "big four" members play on the same stage in United Kingdom.

The "big four" they are talking about is Metallica,Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax.



In my thought the worlds most known hard rock band should have done loads of albums to make it to the top, but Metallica only did 9 since 1983, that tell us something about how good they are huh!?
