I recently encounter a band called Red Fang, Red Fang is an American stoner rock/heavy metal band from Portland US. They released their second album "Murder The Mountains" last year and couple of days ago a new video came.
This is a really funny video and the music is real good, more stoner rock than metal. Its catchy but the heavy sound is still there.
The members are: Bryan Giles on guitar, vocals Aaron Beam on bass guitar, vocals David Sullivan on guitar John Sherman on drums
Ladys and Gents here is Red Fang!
Cheers, Thetania

Portland, Oregon's RED FANG are premiering their NEW video today for their song "Hank Is Dead", which is taken from their critically acclaimed release 'Murder The Mountains'. RED FANG worked with director extraordinaire, Whitey McConnaughy on the video which can be viewed below
Drummer John Sherman spoke about the "Hank is Dead" video:
"Another great concept from the brilliant mind of Whitey McConnaughy. This one came together super quick with the help of some insane Portland locals and their sick air guitar skills. We basically just threw a big party and had a blast while a bunch of cameras ran. That is my shower Aaron and Bryan and Bobcat are in at the intro, btw. It still has a weird ring around it..."
RED FANG are currently on tour in Europe with Mastodon. The tour runs through February 11th in London and includes RED FANG headline dates in addition to the shows with Mastodon (tourdates below).

The band consists of a bunch of awesome cool dudes open up Mastedon at the Annex. Personally I think they made a great effort, it was heavy meandering sludge riffing and it swung like a derailed train.
Members

Bryan had some problems with his amp during sound check, on crackled and had his own life, think they got order on it, or hummed on behind the scenes in the background during their gig.
Here is some pictures from the gig!

Last Saturday got Stockholm a a visit from Mastodon, this time as headliner artist and not as support act or festival gig where playing time is often too short. Last time Mastodon visited Sweden were last summer during the Sonisphere Festival here in Stockholm. Red Fang did travel with Mastodon as support, but more on them tomorrow.
This day they arrived well rested, happy and eager, which was heard during sound check as riff from bands like Metallica were played. Brent Hinds guitar tech had to jump in during the soundcheck as Brent chose to check the ice hockey game instead. But when he showed up he was in a really mischievous mood and dressed to his skelleton costume and danced around and it turned out that the suit also had a REAL poo hatch in the back!
The gig was clearly above expectations, good and simple lighting, the sound was really good to be Annexet which usually tend to get quite muddy. You could hear pretty much everything! what a delight it was, and damn what a monster set list! See below.
Here is some pictures!

Nice drums, a tribute to Randy Rhoads
Todays tune "Iron Tusk" is taken from the shows set list and the concept album Leviathan, released in 2004. The album is loosely based on the Herman Melville novel Moby-Dick, and the songs "Iron Tusk", "Blood and Thunder", "I Am Ahab" and "Seabeast" were released as singles.
