CBGB To Be Revitalized?
CBGB (Country, BlueGrass, and Blues) was a music club at 315 Bowery at Bleecker Street in the borough of Manhattan in New York City. The legendary club closed its doors in October 15, 2006, after founder Hilly Kristal lost a rent battle with the Bowery Residents’ Committee.
Kristal founded CBGB in 1973, it was originally intended to feature its namesake musical styles, but became a forum for American Punk Rock and New Wave bands like Ramones, Misfits, Television, the Patti Smith Group, Mink DeVille, The Dead Boys, The Dictators, The Fleshtones, The Voidoids, The Cramps, Blondie, The Shirts, and Talking Heads. In later years, it would mainly become known for Hardcore Punk with bands such as Agnostic Front, Murphy's Law, Cro-Mags, Warzone, Gorilla Biscuits, Sick of It All, and Youth of Today becoming synonymous with the club.
Recently, there have been rumors that the club will be reopened at a different location. We personally believe this is a horrible idea, since what made CBGB's so special was its location and vibe. A vibe that can't be recreated even if they use the same exact bar (which is in a trailer in Connecticut), and every poster, chair, table, and screw (which are stored in storage room in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY).
Let us know what you think at the comments section below.

Already released in North America on November 14, 2011, the record will make its European debut on January 16, 2012 via Wraith Productions.
Sit back and summon the forces of darkness. (You'll also get the added bonus of learning some interesting background behind the band's mysterious name). 'For His Satanic Majesty’s Glory' is an imposing assault of Satanic Doom/Punk/Black Metal on the senses, composed and recorded in complete adversarial ritual.

Words from the converted:
"This ranks right up there with the new Absu as one of the best occult Metal albums of the year!" -- Wormwood Chronicles
"This will scar you mentally as well as aurally... this gives you those moments of when Black Metal was new and a very hidden art form on the world. Well done, PTAHIL." -- AZM
“These two creatures of the dark universe have conjured up nine songs that will sting you like the lash of the whip of your underworld master.” — Cvlt Nation
“PTAHIL appreciate how to disturb the listener to good effect.” — Alternative Matter
“…be prepared for a violently blissful ascension toward their goal of annihilation.” — Forbidden
“Lightly melodic Black Metal which from time to time is reminiscent of Watain… The more you listen to the album the more captivating and stronger it becomes… PTAHIL is a band to keep an eye on.” — Lords of Metal
“…if you like your Metal dirty, with a Punk attitude and aesthetic that often shifts into more traditional metal leanings, and are gung-ho for some “hail satan!” shenanigans, then this record is probably going to satisfy you…” — Music Emissions

"In order to write lyrics I had to pay attention to the defeatism that the music suggested. To compile this video I had to acknowledge the masochism I wrote of to myself. You don't get rewarded for your faith and you don't get celebrated for your heroism. Just when you find yourself attached, you have lost it. Everything is borrowed. C'est la vie."

Rise Against - Help Is On The Way
Rise Against was in Stockholm, Annexet yesterday.
They played for 3.700 jumping and singing people.
One could really see that the group loved to play for this audience,
they gave it all and a bit more.

In the end Tim McIlrath, the singer, said "we just released an album and all that, but fuck it"....and then they played "Hero" Haha I loved that kinda attitude :D
They released that album the 15 of March this year its called "Endgame"
Pretty good album if u like Rise Against.
All of the group's members are vegetarians and active supporters of PETA, an animal rights organization. Their video for the single "Ready to Fall" contains footage of factory farming, rodeos, and sport hunting, as well as deforestation, melting ice caps, and forest fires.
The group has called the video the most important video they have ever made. The Director's Cut of the video was first made available to a PETA website. In 2009, the band was voted Best Animal-Friendly Band by PETA. In addition to being vegetarians, all the members of Rise Against, except drummer Brandon Barnes, are straight edge; that is, they abstain from consuming alcohol or using recreational drugs.
This is entirely fucking awesome, Love it!!!
Here are some of the pics Stones took.
