Killswitch Engage - Holy Diver

Killswitch Engage is an American metalcore band from Westfield, Massachusetts, formed in 1999. Founded in the following disbandment of the bands Overcast and Aftershock. Killswitch Engage's lineup consists of vocalist Howard Jones, bassist Mike D'Antonio, guitarists Joel Stroetzel and Adam Dutkiewicz, and drummer Justin Foley, the band has released five studio albums so far. Killswitch Engage released their self-titled studio album, on June 30, 2009. Tonight Taste of Chaos lands in Sweden and a gig at Hovet and Stockholm.

Taste of Chaos 2009 is the fifth installment of the Taste of Chaos tours created by Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman. Lyman also handpicked each band on the tour and also believes they are "all on the brink of breakout success."

Hide The Knives - Holy Banner

Hide The Knives is a Swedish rockband with members from both Gothenburg and Chicago. The band was created in early 2007 in Gothenburg. They released thier debut "Savior For Sale" in the februari 2009. The single and todays tune "Holy Banner" during the spring of 2009 the single was one of the most played tunes on the radio station "Bandit". Tonight they will enter the stage as one of the 5 bands that will play at the Bandit Most Wanted at Debaser Medis in Stockholm.

Members are:
Ola Lindström - Drums, Magnus Persson - Bass, Glen Gilbert - Vocals, Martin Johansen - Guitars.

Itchy Daze - Monster

Itchy Daze is a Swedish rock punk band, born at a midsummer party in Hofors, 2005. Their debut album "Daze Of Our Lives" is produced by legendary Patrik Frisk who also been behind the swedish rockers Takida's breakthrough and super-hit Curly Sue.
Itchy Daze is one of those 5 bands that is going to perform at Bandits Most Wanted tomorrow. Itchy Daze has gotten a nice air play on the station with the tune "Monster" witch is a rock ballad with great class.

Raubtier - Achtung Panzer

Raubtier is a Swedish Industrialmetal band from my hometown Haparanda. Raubtier release thier debut album the 25th of mars 2009 "Det finns bara krig". The first single "Kamphund" had already got a hit on the Swedish radio station "Bandit"
Members are Hulkoff - Guitar, Vocals, Buffeln - Drums, Programming, Mörsare - Bass. Their music influences is of course Rammstein. They do it in a very good way, its heavy riffs, cool lyrics in a bit of a comic sense that could attach every kid rocker in this tall country as the lyrics are in Swedish. Looking forward to hear the next album that they have in the pipeline, hopefully for a release around spring next year.

Raubtier is one of the bands that will play on the "Bandit Most Wanted" on thursday. I hope i will be able to go over and say hi to Hulkoff and the rest of the gang.

Engel - Casket Closing

Okey, 2 days with soft music time for something more hard.....

Engel is an melodic death metal band with alternative
influences from Gothenburg, Sweden

This band will soon come to Sweden and some gigs,
for example on Bandit Most Wanted at Debaser in Stockholm
on the 10th of December.
Go and see them if possible!!

My favorites IN FLAMES frontman Anders Fridén helped his
old friend Niclas (both played together in PASSENGER)
record demos and assisted in the production of the CD
at Dug-Out Studios in Uppsala with Daniel Bergstrand
producer of IN FLAMES, MESHUGGAH).
This is very clear if u listen to them,
they are both of the above bands in one :)

Niclas Engelin is a heavy metal guitarist.
Engelin was the lead guitarist for Gardenian,
and has been a touring member of In Flames on three
different occasions. In 1997–1998, he took the
place of Glenn Ljungström for live performances.
He quit because In Flames Drummer,
Bjorn Gelotte wanted to have Niclas position
which caused him to leave & form Engel.

In late 2006 Niclas rejoined In Flames briefly to
temporarily replace Jesper Strömblad,
and again in 2009 for the South American, Australian,
and Japanese part of their tour.
He is currently touring with In Flames on the
Taste of Chaos tour 2009
But not in Stockholm Im afraid :/

Peter Jöback With Kate Pierson - Sing

Peter Arne Jöback (born June 4, 1971 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a Swedish singer and musical artist. Peter Jöback has established himself as one of the most prolific and respected Swedish artists – an extraordinary performer with an amazing voice. Peter sings pop, folk, musical to traditional Swedish songs. Peter Jöback got his big break through his collaboration with ABBA legends Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson. In their epic musical “Kristina från Duvemåla” (The Emigrants) Peter created the role of “Robert” and his theme song “Guldet blev till sand” broke every record in the Swedish charts. Also to notice is that in 2010, Peter will enter Melodifestivalen ( Swedish Pre-selection for the Eurovision Songcontest) he reseved a wildcard from the SVT. The chosen song is "Hollow", composed by Anders Hansson and Fredrik Kempe.



This last two days i have been working with Peter to set up the rehearsals for his Christmas tour that will start off next weekend. Even if Peters stuff ain't my cup of the i must admit that he has a amazing voice and that he is a nice chap to work with. To choose a tune for today on a area that i am not so familiar with, even if this is probably the 10th time i am doing something with Peter. Most of the tunes on the set list is Christmas songs in Swedish, but there was a couple english tunes in between. So i pick a tune that he did on the rehearsal earlier today that sounded good.

Todays tune "Sing" is from Peter Jöback's Latest album "East Side Stories" that was released 28th of October. The tune is a duet with Kate Pierson from the B52’s. And it's written by the band "Travis". Enjoy!

Yeap, They came They danced They singed and was cute...

Second time after the break they visited us here in Stockholm.
With a new album that was released on October 6, 2009
The audience was 98% gurls :D And darn they screamed...
higher than the music....Sigh.. Ah well.

Backstreet boys are older but still in a good condition
both body wise and sing wise.
