Silver Devil - Follow Me Down

Silver Devil is a Swedish Stoner band, founded in 2005 and now based in Gävle. It all started with a few guys who had a common interest in Stoner Music. About a month after the band had started playing together, they made their first gig at a local pub in Söderhamn. With a set list mixed with covers and their own songs, the evening a success. After the amazing response Silver Devil got from their first gig, the band decided to try to go all the way. The result was a mass migration to Gävle where fresh new rehearsal rooms and venues waited. In 2010 was guitarist Jonas Hamqvist recruited to the band and the Stoner/Doom/Metal drink was mixed, finished and ready for serving. This Devil is not only made of silver, it's a package of well wrapped wilderness fuzz. The music is incredibly well built in its simplicity, no unnecessary space frills or contrived excursions, this is more like Lego, the pieces fall into place immediately. The album is covered by heavy and fuzzy soundscapes with great riffings that wont keep your feet's in place (:

Alice Cooper- Steven video

This guy is really cool, still hangin´on after all these years, he is 64 years old :) He has been around since early 60´s and still going strong.

I now and then gets update on the tour they were out on recently, through my friend Pat, that workes with Alice when they are out. Here is Pat and me on Gröna Lund last summer.

2 years ago he did a fantastic video about Steven, he is a fictional character invented by Alice. He appears on the albums Welcome To My Nightmare (1975), Alice Cooper Goes to Hell (1976), DaDa (1983), Hey Stoopid (1991), The Last Temptation (1994), Dragontown (2001), Along Came A Spider (2008), and Welcome 2 My Nightmare (2011).

I wanted to share this video with u´all.

Thåström - Beväpna Dig Med Vingar

Joachim "Pimme" Thåström, will release his new and 7th album "Beväpna dig med vingar" on the 15 february.

Todays tune "Beväpna Dig Med Vingar" is the title track from the upcoming album. Gloomy and slow tears Thåström to the wounds on his own way, he takes care on his lyrics and he expresses them with a sad anxiety, the melody is pulsating so that the hairs on your arms stands up.
