UNEARTH Unleash Their Music Video For "Watch It Burn"
Unearth's NEW video for "Watch It Burn" from 'Darkness in the Light' is now streaming EXCLUSIVELY on Metal Injection.net! The video, which was directed by Scott Hansen (A Day To Remember, I Wrestled A Bear Once, Maylene & The Sons of Disaster), is a dark and disturbing video to match the equally bleak lyrics of the song. The video can be seen below.
Vocalist Trevor Phipps elaborates on the video: "This video captures both the energy we put into every performance as well as imagery of the dark lyrical content of "Watch it Burn". We want to thank Scott Hansen and his crew for their hard work delivering such a sick video for our fans to see. Check it out!"
Unearth's next round of touring will be across Australia as a part of the Soundwave Festival. The tour kicks off February 25th in Brisbane and features Slipknot, System of a Down, A Day To Remember, Bush, Lamb of God, Machine Head and many more. For the full line up, visit Sound Wavefestival.com. In addition to the festival, Unearth will perform on some festival off-dates in Australia and New Zealand. The full schedule is included below.

Chuck Billy Discusses Touring With Anthrax & Death Angel + Upcoming Plans For Testament!
In case you have been living under a rock, Charles Billy (A.K.A. Chuck Billy) is the vocalist of Thrash Metallers Testament! Chuck joined Testament when band was still called Legacy. Coincidentally, Testament's first album was entitled "The Legacy" and was released in 1987. Ever since then, Chuck has remained a permanent member of the band (along with guitarist Eric Peterson). His vocal style is always evolving: Chuck combines a clear, high pitch Thrash style of singing with a deeper low register Death Metal style grunt. Ever since the 'Low' album, he has mixed both styles both on and off stage.
Yesterday, Chuck called us to discuss their current North American tour with Anthrax and Death Angel and to talk about all things Testament! According to Chuck, he has yet again pushed his vocals to the limit on the NEW Testament album entitled 'The Hard Roots Of Earth'. This time around he allowed producer Andy Sneap to produce his vocals, which is something that Chuck has never done before. During this extensive interview we also discussed the future plans of Testament, including their drummer situation and the production of their NEW music video. Check it out now!
Testament with Anthrax and Death Angel (Remaining tourdates):

DARKEST ERA - Video Premiere Of 'An Ancient Fire Burns'!
Ireland's Darkest Era has partnered up with Bloody Disgusting to debut their NEW video for "An Ancient Fire Burns". The song comes from their debut album, 'The Last Caress of Light', which was highlighted in Decibel's Top 40 Extreme Albums of 2011. The video features a grim story with a surprise ending and is as melancholy and emotional as the band's music and was directed by Kieran Majury with Fastville Productions.
Comments guitarist Ade Mulgrew: "An Ancient Fire Burns is a song about primal instincts and desire; and in this video we used a narrative that we really hope will grip people. It's an old school buried-alive-in-coffin concept that compliments the themes in the song. We also shot the band's performance by torchlight in a 1000 year old monastery, once plundered by Vikings. It was a great setting and really adds to the atmosphere in the video."
DARKEST ERA Tour with Alestorm and Claim the Throne:
- 02/04 Plymouth, UK White Rabbit
- 02/05 Stoke On Trent, UK Green Star UK
- 02/06 Sheffield, UK Corporation UK
- 02/07 Bristol, UK The Fleece
- 02/08 Southampton, UK The Cellar
- 02/09 Manchester, UK Moho Live
- 02/13 Leicester, UK The O2 Academy
- 02/14 Brighton, UK The Haunt
- 02/15 Wrexham, UK Central Station
- 02/16 Leeds, UK The Well
- 02/18 London, UK Islington Academy
- 02/19 Norwich, UK Waterfront
End Tour
- 04/27 Dublin, IE The Pint w/ Mael Mordha
- 04/28 Belfast, IE The Limelight w/ Mael Mordha
'The Last Caress' of Light was recorded at Foel Studios in Wales at the end of August 2010 with producer Chris Fielding. The result are eight tracks of dark, stormy, epic Celtic Metal with which mix the melancholy and atmosphere of Irish Folk with the epic might of Heavy Metal bands such as Warlord, Iron Maiden and Thin Lizzy. The album stands out from all else as a record of intense emotional power and honesty; holding the listener within a dark Heavy Metal storm and not letting go until the last chords have rung out.
DARKEST ERA is:
Krum - Vocals
Ade Mulgrew - Guitar
Sarah Wieghell - Guitar
David Lindsay - Bass
Lisa Howe - Drums
