Between 1977 and 1980, Lennox was the lead singer of The Tourists, a moderately successful British pop band and her first collaboration with Dave Stewart. Tour of the Universe is a current concert tour by English electronic band Depeche Mode in support of the group's 12th studio album, Sounds of the Universe, which was released in April 2009.
Todays tune "I Feel You" is Depeche Mode's twenty-seventh UK single, released on February 15, 1993 and was the first single from the album "Songs of Faith and Devotion".
Yesterday the "Tour of the Universe" landed in Stockholm, Sweden. Opening Act on the tour is Nitzer Ebb. They arrived with 8 trucks and a few busses. The set was plain and simple with a few risers built together with a lighting line a cross, nice simple effect. Allot of different lighting stuff, a huge videowall and a videoball in the middle, looks really cool and was a great effect during the show.
Depeche Mode put on an excellent show. The band had fun on stage and delivered their hits as they should do.
The tour started with a warm-up show in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg in May 2009. In January 2010, the group commenced a third European leg starting in Berlin; it will eventually end late February in Düsseldorf, Germany. The tour includes a date as part of a series of concerts in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust, to be held at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The leg also includes five shows that were rescheduled following Gahan's illness in the summer of 2009.

Suicide is an American synthpunk music duo intermittently active since 1971 and composed of vocalist Alan Vega and Martin Rev on synthesizers and drum machines. Listening to their self-titled 1977 debut from the vantage point of late 2002, it's all so obvious: the synthpop, techno, and industrial dance sounds of the '80s and '90s, and now the new New Wave of electroclash, all gesture back to that foundational album." You could say that they invented modern day synth-pop.
Suicide took their name from the title of a Ghost Rider comic book titled Satan Suicide, a favourite comic book of Alan Vega.
Todays tune "Ghost Rider" is taken from "Suicides first album aka 1977" the tune has been covered by R.E.M., The Horrors, The Gories, Rollins Band, The Sisters of Mercy, Merzbow and The Young Gods, and was featured in a Brazilian deodorant commercial in 2005.
