METALLICA Announce The "Orion: Music And More" Two Day Festival!

The Kings Of Thrash Metal, METALLICA, have just announced a two day music festival that will be headlined by METALLICA of course! Support will come from 22 different bands from all types of genres that were hand picked by the Tallica boys. METALLICA has also announced that they will be playing their groundbreaking "Black Album" and the classic album "Ride The Lighting" in their entirety.

This massive events will take place in Atlantic City, New Jersey on June 23rd and 24th! Tickets go on sale this Saturday, February 11th.

Metallica teased us all weekend for an "epic" announcement today and here it is! Metallica announces "Orion: Music And More!" "Orion: Music And More" will be a 2 day event headlined by Metallica, with 22 bands in support that were hand selected by the metal Gods. Metallica will also play the "Black Album" and "Ride The Lightning" in its entirety on both nights for the first time ever on US soil! The festival will take in Atlantic City, New Jersey on June 23rd and June 24th and tickets go on sale on February 11th! Insane!

'The Mini Band' Freaks Out While Watching Metallica's Response to Their Viral Video!

Last month, a UK music group called "The Mini Band" uploaded a video on YouTube that features them performing Metallica's "Enter Sandman". The group is composed of 8 and 10 year-olds that definitely have the chops. This video became a massive YouTube sensation, when in only six weeks this video had over 3 million hits! The members of Metallica came across the video and were very impressed by this talented group of youngsters.

This is what the members of Metallica had to say about "The Mini Band":

"By the time you guys are our age, so you're gonna so incredibly great!" guitarist Kirk Hammett said. "They're already incredibly great, man," bassist Robert Trujillo added.

"You guys rock! You guys are very cool," said drummer Lars Ulrich. "Maybe someday we can work something out. We could come out and open up for all y'all, if you guys will have us. We're just getting started. We're an up-and-coming hard rock band out in Northern California, so if you'll have us, we're there for the taking."

The members of "The Mini Band" have already started to see the results of their YouTube fame. Guitarist Zoe Thomson got over 250,000 hits on one of her YouTube videos. While guitarist Harry Jackson, was featured on Television and on the the Bugera amplifiers website. On the other hand, drummer Charlie Emmons scored an endorsement for drum sticks.

Recently, BBC paid a visit to the members of "The Mini Band" and showed them the video in which Metallica praised their talent. Here is how they reacted.
