The Baseballs - Candy Shop

The Baseballs visited Sweden last week, including a gig at Klubben here in Stockholm, the cuddly boys did a nice appearance with their cheerful rockabilly, the crowd was absolutely crazy. Had a sauna chat with "Basti" which had been completely sold on this washing invention and have invested in a sauna at home in germany.
Basti said that the standard accessories to a sauna was quite impossible to buy at home. So he was really happy when he could find these things at the hardware store here in Stockholm.

The Baseballs are a German rock and roll band founded in Berlin in 2007. They became popular with rock cover versions of modern hits such as "Umbrella" by Rihanna and "Hot n Cold" by Katy Perry.

In 2010 the band supported guitarist Jeff Beck on his "Emotion and Commotion" tour as his opening act.

On first August 2011 The Baseballs released together with General Mills – the producer of the ice cream Häagen-Dazs – within an advertising campaign with Cosma Shiva Hagen a free download of the song "Wha Wha" – which was written especially for the campaign. The track is freely available and can be downloaded from the german site of the brand Häagen-Dazs, or click here to get it!

Here is some photos from the gig!

Jerry Williams - Did I tell you

Last night a big grocery store had their annual Christmas show.
Called The show Of Christmas, Midvinter soul.

There were a list of famous singers from Sweden.
The conferencier was well known his name is Mark Levengood.
The artists were Jerry Williams, Jill Johnson, Orup, Darin,
Måns Zelmerlöw, Lena PH
They did all a good job and the show was flawless.

Only thing I could think of that wasent optimal was my
me and my partners spotlight they sucked big times,
so the singers wasent lighten up in the way they should.
Ah well :p

A guy that I like a lot sang 2 songs he is over 60 years old
and dedicated his whole life to RocknRoll.

In 1963, Jerry Williams toured with the Beatles through Sweden. He has been lead singer in many Swedish rock and roll bands, but is mostly known as a solo artist.
He has also been in musicals.
Jerry have done 28 studio albums since 1963.
Hell of a producer, he is doing a show atm in a place called Tyrol in Stockholm.

He singed at this event with Jill Johnson they were great together.

I had a long day, came to The Globe at 06.00 and went home at 01:00
Hmzz.. but it was a lot of fun to do it as well :)

Here is Jerry Williams Folks, Enjoy!

Peace, Thetania

John Lennon and Chuck Berry - Johnny B. Goode

We will finnish this Johnny tune with this video,
With the king of all Johnnys :D

Chuck himself.
He is still kicking and has reach the age of 83.
He was born in St. Louis Missouri.
Began to play for an audience in 1950.
In the beginning he sang songs from Nat King Cole
and Muddy Waters.

Johnny B Goode was released i March 1958.
I think its about 69 diffrent bands that
did a cover on this tune, thats something huh.

On this video Chuck sings it with John Lennon
1940 - 1980.
