The Avett Brothers - Talk On Indolence

The construction is proceeding in "Slottsskogen" and it begins to take shape, now it's officially the third day I'm here but for Tune Of The Day, it's day two. Today we serve a band playing at Azalea, Friday 14:00

The Avett Brothers, A little recap: North Carolina, Beard, two brothers (Seth and Scott) and a friend (Bob), melancholy and euphoria in a world of bluegrass music go hand in hand with punk. Yes, somewhere where Hank Williams breed children with Neil Young as the rebellious fashion press in the Rocket To Russia by Ramones to distance themselves from their parents. However, such a father like son - The Avett Brothers are all that and then some.

The Rick Rubin-produced album "I and Love and You" touched and created mess on the U.S. Billboard chart. Perhaps not surprisingly, since we already knew from before, what the three men could achieve. But like a mad man was of course delighted when the list in general tend to consist of pouring and re-pouring.

Here is some mixed pictures from today!

Todays tune ”Talk On Indolence” is a manic piece and is taken from the album "Live, Vol. 3” it’s a 2010 live album. It features a concert recorded in the band's hometown of Charlotte, NC at Bojangles Coliseum on August 8th, 2009. Originally taken from the album "Four Thieves Gone: The Robbinsville Sessions” was released in 2006.

Today at work i needed something that would thrill me up a bit, tried to find something on Spotify that was groovy and finally ended up with the Crowes and notice that it was a long time ago i heard Chris Robinson vocals, have been listening to the album "Before the Frost...Until the Freeze" an album that was recorded before a live audience at Levon Helm's Woodstock, NY studio, The Barn in late February and early March, 2009. The album is full off American bluegrass and bluesy rock & roll country. Its a great album that's for sure have to be part off my record collection. So for today i take a tune form the album for you folks.
