For The Empire has released two self financed ep's and done lots of gigs in Finland and is underway to cross the border to Scandinavia and Europe. The band released their debut album, 08.31.2011.
For The Imperium. Now what kind of a name is that supposed to be? Who knows?
Finland, the elongated country with a thousand lakes. A country where it pops up one and another good band in between, has encountered some over the years. But surely missed a lot. Now latley i run into "For The Empire" and their self-titled debut album. This is a cool mix of rock. It's like filling a blender with just the majority of rock music you've ever heard, it becomes a delightful Smoothy of rock, strawberries, metal, vanilla, hardcore and insanity. The first association was Fair To Midland, wonderfully crazy chaos.
Speaking of Finland, the Finnish hard rock take over Stockholm the night of October 6, 2011
Some of the most talked about hard rock bands from Finland, Poisonblack, The Man-Eating Tree, and Blake, gets up at Nalen Club on October 6. The evening is presented by "Skrikhult Production", which is one of the leading booking companies within metal in Sweden. Metal evening is part of the MOI! Stockholm Festival, which retrieves the hottest music from Finland to the main scene in Stockholm 5-8 October.
Todays tune "Creator" is taken from the debut record.
