Coldplay had a gig yesterday in Gothenburgh, Sweden at the "Where The Action Is". They had a big audience that danced in the sun of Azaleadalen :D
They will release an album in autumn 2011. Its named "The Fifth Album"
Coldplay is:
Guy Berryman on bass guitar, backing vocals Jonny Buckland on lead guitar, backing vocals Will Champion on drums, backing vocals Chris Martin on lead vocals, keyboards
Stones is down there and will report and might have some pics to show ya all. Im home and just like a "sun cat" laying in the sun and bathing now and then. Yesterday I took a break from home and my kids and went out to take some beers with some friends, wanted to go and look on "Plan Three" and Sick Puppies but...hmz..We never got there, damn wanted that.. ah well.
Back to this tune of the day´s comming album.
One of the goals for the album was to write tracks with greater use of experimenting with acoustic instruments, manipulation, and electronics by having or not having to revisit the style from Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends. With Chris Martin deciding to not release a solo album, it was rumoured the fifth album would be their last, but Martin later denied this fact. Upon re-entering "The Bakery,"the time to write and record songs were thought outside the box by the band to be more ambivalent than what they wanted. Coldplay were still making new matierial there, so they relocated to another building after continuing the Viva la Vida Tour in mid-late 2009. Martin predicted the style of the album as having lesser fanfare and more "stripped-down" before moving there.

This bring my thoughts back to Me and Stones favorites Led Zeppelin. "Save me" with Black Country Communion...John Bonhams son on the drums although he is a full grown man, and Joe Bonamassa (My alltime greato guitar player) DreamTheater keyboard player Derek Sherinian and Glenn Huges sang in both Black Sabbath and Deep Purple, although I like the originals better ;D But they are doing together a damn good job as Black Country Communion!
This tune is taken from their latest album named "2" :D Mmmm great tunes..Im having gosebums again..damn.
Joe must be a reincarnated musician...damn good one!

Flyleaf is the band im gonna show u today, I saw em as a support band to a band I dont remember... haha Ah well it was on the Stadion In Stockholm, Sweden. I was pretty amazed over her voice.
Then last year I heard her (Lacey Sturm)singin´ in Apocalyptica´s "Broken Pieces, and i was totally hooked to her!
Flyleaf is heavy music and pained lyrics go together like cake and ice cream, and Belton, Texas quintet, Flyleaf, aren't about to break with tradition. But while many loud rockers reopen old wounds by singing about their broken homes and broken hearts, Flyleaf confront past traumas to heal old scars and prove in the process that hope shines brighter than despair.
The tune of today is on the album on their follow-up to their 2005 platinum debut. It contains 14 songs, which were selected out of 30 already written. The band reunited with producer Howard Benson to make the album. The album was recorded at Bay7 Studios in Los Angeles, California. It was released on November 10, 2009. The band debuted two songs, "Chasm" and "Circle", from Memento Mori live during a small acoustic tour in Afghanistan for United States Troops.
The band that I adore the most on this festival is MESHUGGAH!! Damn good.
The intro was heaven, and then when Jens Kidman, Fredrik Thordendal, Mårten Hagström, Dick Lövgren and Haake (a bit), came in and headbanged that was even more heavenly what a impact! LOOOOVED it.
Ive seen them a lot of times now and damn those Luleå guys really deliver every time!
It was raining a bit when they entered the stage but wtf WHO CARES! :D
MESHUGGAH are currently working on the follow-up to their 2008 Billboard-charting album, obZen, which debuted at #59 on the American Top 200 Billboard chart in 2008. It also clinched the #14 spot on the iTunes Top Rock Albums chart, was the #1 Most Added metal album on the CMJ Loud Rock and FMQB radio charts, and set a new Swedish MySpace pre-listening promotion record for over a quarter of a million album streams in seven days.

Today is Midsummer, a feast that is celebrated in Sweden. Naturally I find myself in a not so easily walkable distance from home, more specifically, Gothenburg and celebrate Midsummer.
Midsummer may simply refer to the period of time centered upon the summer solstice, but more often refers to specific European celebrations that accompany the actual solstice, or that take place on a day between June 21 and June 24, and the preceding evening. The exact dates vary between different cultures.
Finding a song that fits internationally for this day is not easy, in Sweden played most drinking songs of all kinds.
A song is really not suitable for the older ones but a success for the younger ones are melodies created by Hans Alfredson.
Among the many lasting contributions Alfredson enriched Swedish cultural life with can be mentioned in particular his efforts as a child, wise writer (”Blommig sausage”, ”Styrman Karlssons äventyr med porslinspjäsen” ("mate Karlsson's adventures with porcelain piece”), etc.) Today's Tune is ”Blommig Falukorv" from the ”Blommig falukorv och andra bitar för barn" ("Flowery sausage and other pieces for children”) release 1965

A band that I really like, is this... At The Gates. They did their first gig at Debaser, Stockholm last year, and then came along down there and did a gig. Lucky us :D Tomas Lindberg the singer had shorter hair since I saw him last time but the same cruel voice and energy!
I heard some voices from the audience, mostly great , one down, but on the otherhand she didnt have a clue what she was talking about. At The Gates are the rulers of this type of music in Sweden.
Here are the crew: Members 1990-1996 & Reunion Tomas 'Tompa' Lindberg - Vocals Anders Björler - Guitar Adrian Erlandsson - Drums Jonas Björler - Bass Martin Larsson - Guitar 1993-
Past Members Alf Svensson - Guitar 1990-1993 (homepage) Tony Andersson - Bass Guitar 1992 (Live only)
Session Members Jesper Jarold - Violin (Live first gig 1991) & The Red In The Sky Is Ours (1992)
They are doing some more gigs, here they are: August 13, 2011 - Party San Open Air, Germany [FLYER] August 14, 2011 - Bloodstock, Derby, UK
I picked a track from "Slaughter of the Soul" - Blinded By Fear.
Darlins, Here are At The Gates.

Im doing a break in Metaltown/WestCoastRiot videos, for,
FOO FIGHTERS There they were, at the Stadion in Stockholm yesterday and they rocked!
Totally filled up, around 35 thousand waving hands.. I was standing as a Security Guard in the front of the catwalk. I could hear David´s Breathing, got his sweat on me :p With my eyes on the audience, it was a fantastic view to see all these singing happy people, David Grohl takes the best of u and wind it up even higher and bang there u go.
Marvelous gig, with all the great songs best, respons they got from the tune "Best Of You" from the album "In Your Honor" folks around sang the tune long after it ended :D
Although I am a metal girl, I totally adore Foo Fighters and hmm there is something special with that David Grohl, he is a huge being, damn it :
Foo Fighters are: Dave Grohl on lead vocals, rhythm and lead guitars Chris Shiflett on lead guitars, backing vocals Nate Mendel on bass Taylor Hawkins on drums, percussion, backing vocals Pat Smear on rhythm and lead guitars
